I have been working as a contemporary artist for over 10 years, drawing my inspiration from expressionism. I am not bound to a particular medium or style. I select the medium and style that will best convey what I want to achieve with each piece. My favorite subjects are portraits and figures. I try to capture the sense of solemnity, fun, mystery, and raw emotions that we all experience in life into all my work. My goal is to convey to the viewer the emotion that is behind each piece, to awaken the mind, and to get the viewer to think in a way that is not bound by traditional thoughts and to discover something exciting that would otherwise not have been seen. I consider myself to be a raw artist. I have no formal training and use no tricks of the trade. I am self-taught. My art is pure, unadulterated, and straight from the soul to the canvas.
